Getting to or leaving Bronzeville in Chicago is one of the few Chicago land area that is conveniently, easily and fully accessible to CTA customers with Transit Cards, Transfer Cards or passes from any part of Chicago.

The various CTA train entrances in Bronzeville are fully accessible and continue to serve customers paying their fares with currency or coins, as well as those with disabilities who require an elevator to reach the platform.

Service changes and reductions will affect most CTA bus and train routes

Service reductions were designed to retain as much service as possible while reducing costs and maximizing efficiency. The only route eliminations are nine express routes that have corresponding local service. All parts of the region that have CTA service will continue to have it. Savings will be realized through less frequent service and service that might start later in the morning or end earlier at night.
